On September 4, Nujaba political council chairman Ali al-Asadi said the movement had completed visits to Coordination Framework leaders and explained its position that the PMF must remain an untouchable national institution, while its view of the resistance and the sanctity of its weapons remained unchanged. The displayed statement also maintained Nujaba’s nonparticipation in the political process and thanked Framework leaders for their interaction, solidarity and welcome. Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) reproduced the PMF-and-weapons wording, while Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) carried a shorter account focused on preserving the PMF and its standing.
