On 14 October, KH security official Abu Mujahid al-Assaf (KH), speaking through Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official owned media) and Sabereen News (KH — affiliated/aligned media), asked whether the prime minister would support Iran or remain neutral if the United States and Israel attacked it through Iraqi airspace, and whether Iraqi youths joining the defending side would be pursued. He also questioned the government’s positions on the U.S. blockade of Iran, Israeli actions against Palestinians and Lebanese, Saudi conduct in Yemen, alleged UAE interference through banks, politicians, media figures, influencers and security companies, and whether U.S. President Donald Trump had requested peace with Israel. He called for young people to designate one or more days annually to burn and crush American and Israeli flags; Sabereen News subsequently reported that combatants at defensive berms were burning an American flag in response to his appeal.

“What is your position on the American blockade imposed on the Iranian people? If you oppose it, what measures are being taken to alleviate it? What is the Iraqi government’s position on the Zionist entity’s crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples?”

“What is your position if the Zionist-American enemy again attacks the Islamic Republic from Iraqi airspace? Will you stand with the front of truth supported by the wise religious authority, or will you remain neutral?”

“What is your position on the criminal Saudi enemy’s crimes against the oppressed Yemeni people, starving them, depriving them of the most basic necessities of life, and committing brutal massacres against children and women?”
