WHAT HAPPENED

On 30 September, KAF Center (KH — official) and Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) published the same taunt about the last American leaving, alongside footage showing weapons and explosions whose date and location are not established. Sabereen News also posted “Our appointment is today” with the expulsion hashtag; its accompanying graphic invited people to a commemorative gathering in Baghdad at 4 p.m. Another Sabereen News post honoured Abu Hasan al-Furaiji as a martyred jihadist commander and displayed text referring to operations against Americans, without dating the depicted events.
