Late on 11 September, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) reported information that the Shalamcheh crossing with Iran had closed. Sabereen News and Unit 10,000 (both KH — affiliated) added a second crossing but differed over whether it was Sheib or Mandali; Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) subsequently reported that Maysan Operations Command had closed Sheib immediately and until further notice.

The disagreement inside KH-linked reporting leaves the Mandali reference at odds with both the KSS-linked Sheib report and Sabereen News’s own version, while all three networks converged on Shalamcheh.
