On 22 October, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official owned media) published Badr’s parliamentary bloc statement alleging a confirmed Israeli violation of Iraqi airspace with explicit US approval and support. The bloc rejected use of Iraqi territory, airspace or territorial waters to attack Iran or neighboring states, and called for urgent government protection of Iraqi airspace, enforcement of Washington’s commitments and an official complaint at the United Nations.
