Badr calls it a "strategic error," skips the network's demands

Badr Organization's political office called the dawn events "a strategic error requiring a firm government position" and made no demand on American bases, the Saudi ambassador, or Iraqi airspace accountability

WHAT HAPPENED

Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official owned media) published a single line from Badr's political office at midday: "What happened is a strategic error requiring a firm government position affirming that Iraq's sovereignty and the blood of its sons are not subject to bargaining." The statement names no perpetrator, no state, and no mechanism. Badr's outlets in this window carried none of Nujaba's five-point text, and Badr's earlier coverage of the funerals quoted the Nineveh Plain commander that "the blood of our sons in the Nineveh Plain will not go in vain."

WHY IT MATTERS

Badr, the faction most embedded in Iraqi state institutions, is the one actor in this window asking the state to act firmly without asking it to expel anyone or sever anything — a measurable gap in the demand set the other factions published today.
