On 30 September, Badr MP Qusay Abbas al-Shabaki (Badr Organization — parliamentary bloc), speaking on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official), called for a parliamentary vote on the PMF law and said enactment would take no more than one month, claiming agreement on passage. He also called Turkey’s presence in Nineveh worrying and said Bashiqa and Nineveh Plain areas wanted federal forces after a Turkish withdrawal.
