Later, Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) relayed CNN’s attribution to Saudi officials that drones launched from Iraq struck a principal Saudi pipeline system, while Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) asserted extensive fire damage without assigning responsibility. Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned, non-official) separately relayed an Iranian source attributing explosions around Qeshm to Iranian air-defence tests, distinguishing that incident from the Saudi pipeline reporting.

The Iraqi-launch attribution places the incident on a different escalation track from the Yemeni attribution repeated by Badr Organization and Nujaba media. The divergence remains between reported accounts rather than direct acknowledgements by an Iraqi or Yemeni armed actor.
