On August 30, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) captioned Issam Hussein as calling for Khamis al-Khanjar’s investments to be stopped. The caption labelled al-Khanjar “Iraq’s Kushner” and alleged that he had turned the economy into a hub of sectarianism, but supplied no evidence about the investments or any pending state action.
