Al-Ahad pairs Hussein-insult referral with unpaid salaries report

Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) carried both the Iraqi Media Network's referral of Mina Amir for investigation over alleged insult to Imam Hussein's visitors and a report that over one million ministry employees are unpaid

WHAT HAPPENED

Al-Ahad TV, Asaib Ahl al-Haq's official channel, reported this morning that MPs say more than one million employees in several ministries and state departments have not received their salaries because of a liquidity shortage, and an hour later posted an Iraqi Media Network document referring Mina Amir Jawad for investigation over a social-media video said to insult visitors to Imam Hussein. Both posts carry the channel's #الحسين_نهجنا hashtag. Visual review of the referral document notes the network letterhead and signature block but could not confirm authenticity, and the date field is blank; neither item appears elsewhere in the retrieved evidence.

WHY IT MATTERS

A disciplinary referral over alleged offence to Hussein pilgrims, carried under Al-Ahad's own Hussein hashtag, puts state media discipline and Shia religious sensibility on the same page as a salary-payment failure — the two levers Asaib Ahl al-Haq's channel chose over the audit story its peers took.
