Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) at 11:41 and Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) at 11:42 today published the same sentence: the Diwaniya provincial council announces the arrest of the accounts official at the governorate's office and employees on charges of bribery and embezzlement; Watan TV's image shows a council press conference under the Diwaniya provincial council banner. Sixteen minutes earlier, at 11:26, Al-Ahad TV posted that "reports speak of" a travel-ban decision issued against a number of Diwaniya council members implicated in corruption files, illustrated with a stock passport graphic. Both channels carry the council's own announcement with no faction commentary added; no other tracked actor was observed carrying either item.
Which faction media amplifies prosecutions of provincial finance officials, and how far each is willing to go beyond the official announcement, is a readable marker of positioning around Diwaniya's administration.
