On the evening of 3 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted two segments of its programme #سياسي_الابعاد within about fifteen seconds of each other. Economic adviser Safwan Qusay said touching the exchange rate is rejected, that printing currency and changing the rate would shift the burden onto the citizen, that the Ministry of Industry has no industry in it, and that Egypt collects some 80 billion dollars from customs and taxes against Iraq's two billion. Finance committee member Riyad al-Tamimi said the regional war exposed Iraq as an economically "fragile" state, that printing currency is "impossible" and contrary to central bank law, that the government sent "miserable and shameful" revenue laws, that it has no law permitting it to borrow and works improvisationally, and that salaries are secured through 2026 while 2027 needs real solutions. The rung holds at credible because both statements are carried in full by the group's own official broadcaster and nothing in the collected material contradicts them; there is no outside coverage of either segment in hand.

AAH's official broadcaster is putting a named parliamentarian and a named adviser on record against exchange-rate and borrowing measures, and against the Kurdistan Region on customs, which places the group's media on one side of the fiscal decisions ahead of the 2027 budget cycle.
