Sabereen News (KH — affiliated), Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) and Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) called supporters to assemble at the Suspended Bridge at 17:00 on August 24 and march toward the Republican Palace. The three channels alleged Tom Barak was provoking civil war. FAA (Ansar Allah al-Awfiya — official) later promoted the same route and destination, but called the gathering peaceful and did not name Barak. No turnout, weapons or confrontation had been established in the signal's assessment.

Eight faction-linked outlets reported that the Babil Governorate Council voted on August 24 to rename Jurf al-Sakhar as Madinat al-Nasr. Only iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) included language honoring “the sacrifices of the martyrs,” but presented it as council wording rather than its own addition.

PMF Media Directorate head Muhannad al-Aqabi said the personnel whom channels reported detained by an unidentified authority on August 24 had been transferred to PMF Security for judicial follow-up. KSS, Badr Organization, Nujaba, Ashab al-Kahf and KH media relayed the handover, replacing the morning's dispute over custody with an official PMF account. Neither al-Aqabi nor the relays identified the detainees, alleged offenses or arresting authority, and no faction stated its own position on the arrests.

On the PMF law, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) and Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) converged on parliamentary action within the next two weeks. Al-Ahad alone claimed 100 parliamentary signatures, gave a one-to-two-week submission window and aired an analyst urging rapid passage. Al-Ittijah carried the near-term timetable first but supplied none of those details.

Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) described the 280,000-dinar monthly pay for Education Ministry contracts as a tragedy and quoted education-staff spokesperson Ali Ridha accusing officials of delaying their stabilization through the 2026 budget. The channel separately aired Ridha asking why MPs had not ensured fairness for the contracts, but identified no proposed parliamentary step. The procrastination charge and accountability question remained Ridha's; no Nujaba official adopted them.

On education legislation, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) repeated three times that a parliamentary figure identified only as Adnan Feihan the AAH commander who is the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, had promised to schedule a teachers’ union-law amendment. The channel supplied no amendment text and attributed the commitment to Feihan, not to AAH.
