Within roughly twenty minutes on 17 August, Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) posted the Quranic verse permitting those wronged to fight, addressed to "the sons of the Iraqi people, the sons of the Popular Mobilization, the sons of the Islamic Resistance and its social base," and told them their turnout would prove to the enemy their adherence to their leaders "and to the sacred weapon." Across the same window Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official), Unit 10,000 and Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) each reported tribesmen of Dhi Qar arriving at a gathering point in al-Fadhliya district, with crowd video. Two separate faction networks carried the same gathering; only the KH channel attached the weapons-and-leaders frame.
