On 30 October, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official owned media) carried the PMF Authority’s denial that Iranian advisers received Iraqi government salaries during the war against terrorist groups, alongside its condemnation of the allegations as a distortion of that period and disrespect for those killed. The Authority also said Iran provided weapons and ammunition, some free of charge, and that 55 Iranian advisers were killed and many others wounded.
