Hamidawi line spreads from KH channel to Badr channel with added wording

Statements attributed to Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, carried first by Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) and within the hour by Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated), call for holding the resistance weapon, developing it and enlarging its arsenal, with the Badr-side version adding a call to "cleanse our security space"

On 3 August, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) posted wording attributed to Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi: "our holding to the resistance weapon, and not relinquishing it, but rather developing it and enlarging its arsenal," and an hour later a longer version saying a crime the enemy committed against "our sons" requires holding the weapon and developing it "to deter anyone who wishes us ill." Within five minutes of that second post, Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) carried a related formulation attributed to Hamidawi framing the trigger as "the aggression against Iraq" and adding a call "to seek to cleanse our security space." The rung is held at credible rather than higher because the two carriages are the only lines in hand, no perpetrator, target or timetable is named, and no outside coverage of the statement appears in the retrieved evidence.
