Between roughly midday and mid-afternoon, KH's Al-Ittijah TV, AAH's Al-Ahad TV and Badr's Al-Ghadeer TV each carried the spokesman of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters saying any threat would be met with a response "stronger and harsher than before"; Al-Ahad TV added the same spokesman saying "we monitor all movements of American and Zionist forces in the region", while KH-affiliated Sabereen News and Unit 10,000 carried the headquarters' line that no ship would be permitted through the Strait of Hormuz without Tehran's permission. Al-Nujaba TV separately carried Mohammad Mokhber, described as adviser to the leader of the revolution, saying the leadership has a decisive strategy of turning the war into an offensive war if Iran's conditions are not met. Every one of these is quoted Iranian voice; no collected item states an Iraqi faction's own target, timetable or operation.
