Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) and Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official) opened with the softest formula, "reports of"; iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) went earliest and hardest with "an official source" and then "a senior source"; Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) alone named the Iraqi News Agency; Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) cited "a government source"; Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) cited "sources"; Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) claimed "private sources" of its own. No channel attached comment, and no faction position on the case appears in the collected window.
