Four networks carry Salah al-Din arrest; Badr widens it

Between roughly 21:42 and 22:12 on 8 August, six militia-linked channels reported the arrest of Salah al-Din province's planning director, Duraid Hilal Shabib. Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) moved first, attributing the report to media sources and adding a right-of-reply notice, and thirty minutes later published a second item describing a wide arrest campaign reaching a number of Salah al-Din officials over corruption allegations. Al-Nujaba TV attributed it to agencies and added the charges of corruption and theft of public funds; no channel named the arresting agency, none added a faction voice, and no Iraqi official source is in hand.
