Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) reported this afternoon that Saud al-Saadi (Hoquq — KH) had directed a parliamentary question to the prime minister on government remarks about deleting zeros from the Iraqi dinar, asking for the constitutional and legal basis, economic usefulness, and effects on confidence in the currency. Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) later reported the same question as concerning a decision to remove the zeros and posted an image of a parliamentary letter. The two letter images show different visible dates.
