Hoquq bloc deputy demands account of Saudi terrorism convicts

On 8 August, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official owned media) published a scanned parliamentary inquiry signed by Saud al-Saadi, deputy head of the Hoquq (Rights) bloc and a member of the parliamentary Integrity Committee, addressed to the president and the justice minister and demanding figures on Saudi nationals convicted of terrorism in Iraq since 2003 — those still under sentence, those covered by the 2008 and 2016 general amnesty laws or by special presidential pardon, and the reasons the president has not issued the decrees ratifying death sentences forwarded by the Federal Court of Cassation, with a response demanded within fifteen days. Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) relayed the same item roughly half an hour later. The finding rests on two channels of a single network and on the document image itself; no outside coverage of the inquiry is in hand, and visual review of the document notes a date reading 2027/8/8 against a posting date of 2026-08-08, which the desk cannot reconcile.
