On August 28, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) described a procession of tribal members, Husayni groups and mujahideen in Hartha district, Basra, under the slogan, “We will not give up the weapon that empowered us.” Visual review shows a crowd with banners and flags, but does not establish that weapons were present, moved or prepared for use.
