On 4 September, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) alleged that Rashid Hotel management refused to surrender Yazid al-Hassoun, whom it described as wanted by the judiciary, to Iraqi security forces. One minute later, the channel told its audience to treat the hotel like a PMF fighter’s home and “storm it,” dismissing al-Khanjar’s possible objection; the posts cited no judicial document, alleged offence or participating force.
