On 22 September, political-affairs researcher Essam Hussein, speaking on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official), said Yemen had acknowledged targeting Saudi Arabia, denied that Iraqi factions were involved and said Saudi Arabia had not established that the attack originated in Iraq. He also called for Iraqi drone factories because the country was in danger and said the factions had not intervened in the 12-day Iran-U.S. war.
