Badr outlet pairs patronage complaint with backing for al-Zaydi

On the same outlet five minutes earlier, al-Tamimi accused parties of exploiting state resources through their arms inside institutions while declaring support for Prime Minister al-Zaydi's steps and agreements

WHAT HAPPENED

Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) posted a second al-Tamimi quote card overnight on 2 August, minutes before the weapons item, saying parties exploit state resources through their arms inside institutions, causing waste of public money and aggravating crises, and separately that he supports Prime Minister al-Zaydi's steps and his signing of agreements serving Iraq and its people. No party, ministry or agreement is named in the post. The finding rests on one outlet and one speaker with nothing else in the window bearing on it.

WHO CARRIED IT
  1. Watan TVBadr Organization — affiliated02 Aug, 04:45

Al-Tamimi: Parties exploit state resources through their arms inside institutions, which caused the waste of public money and aggravated the crises — Al-Tamimi: We support Prime Minister al-Zaydi's steps and endorse his signing of agreements that serve Iraq and its people.

Their words, in the order they posted. Translation by the desk; published as evidence, not endorsement.
WHY IT MATTERS

The two halves are consistent rather than contradictory: pressure on how state institutions are staffed and funded, delivered alongside an endorsement of the sitting prime minister and his agreements.
