Earlier in the same hour, Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) published a report headlined "Basra buries the martyr of the treacherous Saudi aggression Haydar al-Sikini, with demands for a firm response". Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) aired an MP speaking of "the blood of the martyrs of the Saudi aggression". No Iraqi faction claim of a retaliatory operation appears in the collected material, and no independent reporting of the underlying strikes was supplied to the desk.
