On 26 August, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated), Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) and iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) reported that reciter Faqad al-Musawi was filing lawsuits against channels, pages and bloggers accused of circulating old clips and inciting against him. Visual review placed the photographed group outside the Dhi Qar Court of Appeal, but did not establish the identities or contents of any filings; Unit 10,000 alone alleged that the accused media actors traced back to Khamis al-Khanjar and his associates.
