Early on 14 September, Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated/aligned media) reported that five missiles struck weapons depots and camps belonging to what it called the “Iranian terrorist opposition” in Sulaymaniyah. The Kurdistan Region Security Agency subsequently reported five impacts—three at Zrgoezela, one near Gurgachia in Sirwan district and one between Darizayn and Mirasiy Khwaru in Qaradagh—with no casualties, but did not identify those locations as military sites.

The difference between Unit 10,000’s military-target framing and the security agency’s location-based account leaves the alleged targets uncorroborated and prevents attribution of the operation to an Iraqi militia.
