KSS and Nujaba channels converge on weapons-as-sovereignty line

WHAT HAPPENED

iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) posted a breaking-news card at 19:40 saying it was following "the repercussions of the Saudi aggression against Iraq" and that "the weapons of the resistance are a guarantee of deterrence and sovereignty" (سلاح المقاومة ضمان للردع والسيادة). Fifteen minutes later Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) published a studio segment headed "to strike the Popular Mobilization's environment" (لضرب بيئة الحشد) saying the financial situation was being exploited "to place external conditions on the government, among them 'corruption, the weapons of the resistance'"; visual review of that segment shows an on-screen banner reading "The Saudi aggression on Iraq… what does it hide behind it?" Neither post names an Iraqi target, a timetable or any Iraqi action, and neither carries a claim of responsibility for anything; no tracked channel in the collected window claimed an operation.

WHY IT MATTERS

The deterrence argument is being attached to Saudi Arabia rather than only to the United States and Israel, and to the state's budget rather than only to security policy, which places the weapons file inside the fiscal negotiation.
