Between 21:01 and 21:15 on 11 August, four channels belonging to four different networks carried remarks attributed to Huquq bloc MP Miqdad al-Khafaji, beginning with Sabereen News and followed by Shabab al-Islam, Unit 10,000 and Al-Nujaba TV. Three carried only the single line that the execution of the wanted Saudis should have taken place 15 years ago; Al-Nujaba TV carried a fuller set in which he also said resistance weapons are "covering us", that America will not leave Iraq completely on 30 September, that Saudi Arabia has not formally apologised to Iraq, and that the foreign minister failed to respond to Riyadh and his position was weak. The rung holds on four independent channel postings of the same attributed remarks; what is missing is any outside coverage of the remarks or of the detainee file.

A Huquq bloc position on Iraqi judicial handling of Saudi detainees and on the Iraqi foreign minister's conduct is now being amplified by channels of three separate networks, which broadens the political constituency visible behind the demand beyond KH alone.
