Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official media) announced early this afternoon that "the bodies of the Popular Mobilization Forces martyrs have arrived at al-Hussein Military Hospital in Baghdad," and Sabereen News (Kataib Hezbollah — affiliated) posted an update stating "four martyrs from the fighters of the Popular Mobilization Forces whose bodies have not been identified until this moment, who ascended by the act of the Saudi Wahhabi-American aggression." Neither post states where, when or how the men were killed, and no unit is named. Nujaba's signed statement of the same morning describes a dawn strike by aircraft and missiles on "the depth of secure Iraqi cities," attributed to "the brutal American occupation and the mercenary Saudi coalition." Unit 10,000 (Kataib Hezbollah — affiliated) separately recorded the bodies arriving in Baghdad from the Nineveh Plain.
Watch: identification of the four dead and naming of their unit or brigade; any faction eulogy claiming them as its own; independent reporting of a strike location; a claim of retaliatory action under any resistance brand — any of these moves this file.
