Between 09:05 and 10:32 on 19 August, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) relayed three statements by Badr bloc MP Karim Aliwi al-Muhammadawi arguing that state authority requires comprehensive weapons control applied to the Peshmerga and heavy weapons without exception, while also saying Iraq needs drones and missiles to deter external threats. In the same hours Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) carried four speakers placing foreign-force withdrawal ahead of any discussion of resistance weapons and describing disarmament pressure as American rather than Iraqi. Al-Ghadeer TV separately carried Diwaniyah notables rejecting the surrender of resistance weapons.
