Between roughly 00:12 and 00:42 on 10 August, Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) posted four items from its correspondent in Wasit on protests over the province's share of electricity: an appeal to al-Zaidi to intervene against riot-police repression, a report of violent handling causing serious injuries, video captioned as showing how riot forces confronted the protesters, and finally a report that 50 protesters were injured and that demonstrators want the provincial police commander dismissed. All four come from one channel and one correspondent; no other tracked channel carried the Wasit protests in the window and no outside coverage of the injury figure is in hand, which holds the rung at preponderance.
