Between 17:45 and 17:52 this evening, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted three items on the same thread: an unnamed "Fayhan" saying the details of why the units were not informed must be clarified; Sadiqoun general assembly member Amal al-Shuwaili saying Fayyadh's failure to appear in parliament could lead to his questioning; and Abbas al-Shabaki, official spokesman of the Hadba Coalition, stating that the Prime Minister confirmed Fayyadh had been told of an attack on PMF headquarters before it occurred, that PMF Brigade 30 in the Nineveh Plain was not told, and that Fayyadh's dismissal is "inevitable and unavoidable." The underlying attack, the warning and the Prime Minister's confirmation rest solely on these Al-Ahad TV items; no other tracked channel in the collected window addressed Fayyadh, and no militia claim of responsibility for any attack on PMF headquarters is on record here.

“The Prime Minister confirmed that PMF chairman Falih al-Fayyadh was informed of an aggression against PMF headquarters before it occurred; PMF Brigade 30 in the Nineveh Plain was not informed of an aggression against its headquarters; the dismissal of Falih al-Fayyadh from the PMF chairmanship is inevitable and unavoidable.”
The removal of the PMF chairman is contested on an AAH-owned platform through an allegation of command failure plus a parliamentary summons threat, which is the mechanism by which control of the PMF's top post would change hands.
