On 6 September, Jehad Brothers Team (Nujaba — affiliated) and Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official) published matching first-person claims that they had conducted their first test of an Iranian anti-destroyer missile over a U.S. warship 48 hours earlier. Both said the missile created “hell” for the Americans and caused them to flee, but neither identified the vessel, location or operational unit.
