At 00:20 on 11 August, FAA (Ansar Allah al-Awfiya — official) published a statement by MP Mansour al-Baiji saying there is no agreement whatsoever between his side and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, that he was speaking about reality rather than hopes or expectations, and that they had not met PUK leaders and the PUK had never sat with them. The evidence does not say what alleged agreement prompted the denial, does not give al-Baiji a factional affiliation beyond his parliamentary title, and contains no PUK response.
