On 16 August 2026 Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) posted a statement it attributed to political-council member Firas al-Yaser saying Iraqi media disorder had exceeded religious and national constants and asking how an official channel claiming independence could distort the image of the fighters and market misleading meanings. He said the channel’s policies should be reconsidered because it represented only its officials and those behind them. The post was tagged to NTV Iraq.
