On the morning of 10 August, Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) carried Nujaba member Mahdi al-Kaabi under the headline "missiles for missiles," saying Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi's message aims to keep faith with the martyrs and preserve Iraq's sovereignty. Twelve minutes earlier the same channel carried MP Miqdad al-Khafaji demanding guarantees in exchange for handing over the resistance's weapons, citing exposed Iraqi airspace. The channel is Nujaba's own; the evidence does not reproduce Akram al-Kaabi's underlying message itself.
