The New Arab carries claim that Iraqi factions reject September weapons deadline

On 7 September, Al-Maalomah attributed to Dulaimi, whose role was not stated, the position that handing over resistance weapons depends on ending foreign forces’ role and restoring state prestige. The New Arab separately reported that Iraqi factions rejected the September weapons deadline, but its headline did not identify the factions or specify their terms. The two headlines establish the attributed publications, while neither independently establishes a position by a named faction.
