Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official) posted a driver's account shortly after midnight on 21 August saying private-station owners had agreed among themselves over the 1,000-litre allocation and closed all their stations, then an hour later a post asking where the blessings of a blessed country are with no food basket, no oil, no gas and no electricity. Both carry Baghdad and the channel's Solutions Centre tags. The rung is preponderance and no higher: both items come from a single channel, one rests on an unnamed driver, and no outside coverage of the closures is in hand.

“A driver: the private-station owners agreed because of the 1,000 litres and closed all their stations.”

“The country of blessings — but where are the blessings? No food basket, no oil, no gas and no electricity!”
بلد الخيرات.. بس وين الخيرات؟ لا سلة غذائية، لا نفط، لا غاز ولا كهرباء!
Watch: outside reporting of station closures in Baghdad; a second tracked channel carrying the 1,000-litre allocation story; Al-Janoub TV naming a ministry, an official or a demand; any call to protest attached to the shortage line — any of these moves this file.
