Within twenty-five minutes of carrying the Islamic Resistance in Iraq's postponement decision on 7 August, Kataib Hezbollah's Al-Ittijah TV ran two segments with political analyst Salah al-Amshani: one presenting the deferral under the heading "safety valve" in three main points, the other stating that the government's and some political leaders' position toward the Saudi aggression went no further than statements of condemnation and fell below the level of responsibility. The statement carried by the same channel separately called on "those whom the chair has blinded to the protection of blood and violated sovereignty" to reconsider.
