Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) this afternoon relayed a Diwaniyah tribal statement rejecting any turn of Jurf al-Nasr into a space for political bargaining and U.S. pressure. Minutes later Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) carried sheikhs of Diwaniyah tribes saying the Jurf al-Nasr issue is not a venue for political deals and that the martyrs’ blood on that ground is not for bargaining. No other tracked faction’s collected channel carried the statement.
