Badr and AAH name Saudi Arabia; shared text names none

WHAT HAPPENED

The statement carried by all six factions warns "the American enemy and its allies in the region" but names no state as the object of the postponed response. Within minutes of carrying that full text, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) posted a headline saying the postponed response was "against Saudi Arabia", and Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted a headline saying the response was "to the Saudi aggression". No Kataib Hezbollah, Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada or Ashab al-Kahf channel in this window named Saudi Arabia in its rendering of the statement.

WHY IT MATTERS

Two factions have publicly attached a named Gulf state to an admitted-and-postponed armed response while their partners kept the object unnamed, which puts different faction audiences on record with different understandings of who was to be struck.
