Between 14:23 and 14:29 on 13 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) posted five separate items reporting that the parliamentary investigative committee had summoned the PMF chairman, the PMF chief of staff, the army chief of staff, the senior deputy of the Interior Ministry, and the director of the commander-in-chief's office, each to establish why PMF headquarters were not evacuated before what the channel calls "the American-Saudi aggression." Four of the five posts carried photographed Security and Defence Committee letters bearing seals and named recipients. Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) carried the summons of the commander-in-chief's office director at 14:25, before Al-Ahad's own version of that same line at 14:23 — the two texts are near-identical in wording. The rung holds on two independent militia carriers of the same documented summonses; there is no outside coverage of the summonses in the collected material.

Sitting Iraqi commanders and the prime minister's own office director are being called to answer to a committee whose proceedings are being published first through faction media, which sets the terms of the record before any official finding exists.
