On 26 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) carried political analyst Sattam al-Areef’s description of the Iran–Turkey–Pakistan–Saudi Arabia security meeting in Tehran as a beginning toward easing the Iran and Yemen disputes. Political analyst Hussein Ruwairwan said Iran could reasonably expect regional states to condemn aggression against its territory, people and sovereignty. Their remarks were published as guest commentary, not an AAH leadership statement.
