Ashab al-Kahf-linked Shabab al-Islam reports unclaimed Erbil attacks

Late on September 1, Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned, non-official), Sabereen News and Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated), Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) and iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) reported attacks or explosions at Harir base, Soran, Erbil airport, the U.S. consulate and headquarters of what they called the “sabotaging parties” in Ghezhnakan. Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) subsequently relayed an IRGC statement saying it had conducted a joint missile-and-drone attack on U.S. bases in Erbil, but the statement did not identify the joint partner.
