On 22 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) announced that Shibl al-Zaidi had joined the leadership of the Coordination Framework "now, after unanimous signing on his joining"; the accompanying image showed a grey-haired man before an Iraqi flag. Roughly fifty minutes later Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) and then Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) carried a shorter identical formulation naming him as head of the Services Alliance and omitting the unanimity. The rung is credible: three channels across three factions carry the same event, and nothing contradicts it; the unanimity detail rests on one channel alone.
