Rice — retail, national median

LATEST ON WFP · 2026-09 · CHECKED 2026-10-28

What a kilo of rice costs in Iraqi markets — the national median of the retail prices WFP reports for each of Iraq’s 18 governorates (each a WFP aggregate of that governorate’s markets), mid-month. A month with fewer than five governorates reporting is withheld rather than averaged thin. The same rule holds for every WFP series on this shelf.
