On 14 October, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated/aligned media) addressed the transport minister with allegations against Baghdad International Airport department director Harith al-Obaidi and General Company for Passenger and Delegation Transport director-general Karim Kadhim Hussein. It alleged that Hussein, who chaired an investigative committee concerning al-Obaidi, accepted money and would conceal the case. The channel requested another committee drawn from the minister’s office and the ministry’s legal department to examine Hussein and the contracts involved.
