On 11 October, ABNA reported that PMF forces discovered and destroyed a concealed tunnel in desert areas near Rawah, western Anbar. The report said ISIS members used it to hide and store weapons and drugs, and cited an Iraqi security source describing the site’s importance.

“This tunnel was located in the desert areas belonging to the city of Rawah in western Anbar; PMF fighters detonated and destroyed it to prevent terrorists from reusing the site as a hideout and a store for weapons and drugs.”
كان هذا النفق يقع في المناطق الصحراوية التابعة لمدينة "راوة" غربي الأنبار؛ وقد قام مقاتلو الحشد الشعبي بتفجيره وتدميره لمنع الإرهابيين من إعادة استخدام الموقع كمخبأ ومستودع للأسلحة والمخدرات.
